Before you call
Is this confidential?
Yes. We do not post about your property, and we do not discuss it in town.
Do I have to be there while you work?
No. We can work from a key and keep you updated by email and photos.
What if someone is still living in the home?
That work is done at the pace of the person living there, and what leaves the house is agreed with them.
Cost and timing
How much does a cleanout cost?

Every estimate is free, and the price is put in writing before any work begins.
How long does a cleanout take?
It depends on how full the property is and how much searching is involved. A packed single-family home is usually measured in days rather than hours. You will get a realistic timeframe in writing with your estimate — not an optimistic one.
Do you work around probate and closing dates?
Yes. Tell us the date in your first email — estate deadlines are usually the tightest constraint on a job, and we schedule around them.
Is the estimate really free?
Yes. We come and look at the property, talk it through with you, and give you a written price. There is no charge for that and no obligation to book.
Valuables, donations, and disposal
What happens if you find something valuable?
How items are handled — kept, donated, sold, or discarded — is agreed in writing before work begins. Anything you designate is set aside for you. Firearms are secured and handed directly to the family.
Can you find specific things buried in the hoard?
Yes. Give us a list before we start — a wedding ring, the deed, service medals, photo albums — and searching for those happens before anything is cleared.
What happens to everything you haul away?
Usable items can be donated to local charities. Scrap metal, electronics and recyclables are separated out. How items are handled — donated, sold, retained, or discarded — is set out in the agreement before work begins.
What do you do with sensitive paperwork?
Documents you need are sorted and handed to you. Sensitive paperwork that isn’t needed — old bank statements, medical records, anything with a Social Security number on it — is set aside for shredding rather than thrown in an open dumpster.
The work itself
Do you handle apartments and rental turnovers?
Yes. We work with landlords, property managers and realtors on rental turnovers and pre-listing cleanouts, including units that cannot currently be shown.
Do you clear barns, sheds, vehicles and motor homes?
Yes. Alongside houses and apartments we clear garages, sheds, outbuildings, barns, farm properties, storage units, vehicles, campers and motor homes.
What about pests, mold, or animal waste?
